Personal Training for Kids

This is strength training for children.

It is taught individually, one kid at a time. Parents are required to be present during the entire session.

The focus is on learning proper movement and building strength over time. Not on setting records or pushing limits.

Sessions take place in Simi Valley, CA.

Kids Personal Training

How It Works

Each session is 45 minutes. It is always one-on-one.

We start with a warm-up. Then we work on specific movements or exercises. We end with a cooldown.

The exercises are based on the child's ability. If they can't do something safely, we don't do it yet.

Progress happens through repetition and consistency. Not through intensity.

Investment:

$60 per session for Personal Training for Kids.

What we use:

Bodyweight movements, light dumbbells, kettlebells, resistance bands, and basic gym equipment. Nothing complicated.

Parent or Legal Guardian Must Be Present

For all personal training sessions with minors, a parent or legal guardian must be present and stay for the entire session.

Why this matters:

  • Ensures your child's safety and comfort throughout the session
  • Allows you to see what your child is learning
  • You can reinforce good movement patterns at home
  • Creates accountability and structure for consistent progress

This is non-negotiable

Sessions will not proceed if a parent or legal guardian is not present.

Why Safety Matters

Kids are not small adults. Their bodies are still developing.

That means we don't train them the same way adults train.

We don't do max lifts. We don't train to failure. We don't push them to keep going when form breaks down.

The goal is to build a foundation of good movement. Strength comes later, naturally, as they grow.

No max effort

We stay well within safe limits

What We Focus On

Movement Quality

How you move matters more than how much you lift. We teach squats, hinges, pushes, pulls, and carries. Basics done well.

Body Awareness

Kids learn to feel where their body is in space. This helps with coordination, balance, and control.

Building Habits

Training consistently, showing up on time, and paying attention. These matter more than any single workout.

Health, Not Performance

This is not about making young athletes. It's about helping kids move well and stay healthy as they grow.

What Parents Can Expect

You will be in the room the entire time. This is non-negotiable.

Your child will not be yelled at, pushed to exhaustion, or compared to other kids.

Progress will be slow and steady. Some sessions will feel repetitive. That's intentional.

If your child is not focused or does not want to be there, we will address it calmly. If it continues, we may pause or end the session.

This is not entertainment. It is structured training.

Questions to ask yourself before booking:

  • Is my child interested in learning, or am I the one pushing this?
  • Can I commit to being present for the full hour each session?
  • Am I okay with slow, quiet progress instead of fast results?

Who This Is For

This training is for kids who want to learn how to get stronger in a calm, structured environment.

It works best for children who can follow instructions and stay focused for an hour.

It is not a good fit for kids who need constant entertainment or who get bored easily with repetition.

Age range:

Generally 8 to 16 years old. Younger or older may be considered depending on maturity and ability to focus.

Experience level:

No experience required. We start from where the child is and build from there.
