Represents strength training, which is essential to any sport that you practice. Back in Brazil when we lift weights we say that we will "lift Iron".
Represents the Jiu Jitsu Gi (kimono). Back in Brazil we refer to the Gi as "Pano" which means Fabric. It's about skill development, learning to move efficiently, and respecting the process.
Represents the discipline to show up, even when you don't feel like it. That morning coffee that gets you started. It's about consistency, routine, and doing the work day after day, regardless of motivation.
Together, these three elements represent my lifestyle and what I
teach:
Strength, Technique, and Consistency.
Iron, Fabric & Caffeine is not a gym.
It's not a program.
It's a way of training — and a way of living.
IFC is a movement around discipline, care, and consistency.
As a Jiu Jitsu instructor and Personal Trainer, I want to spread this mentality.
No hype.
No shortcuts.
I don't believe in outcome goals. I believe in doing the job every day, then the outcome will just be a natural consequence.
All I need is for people to show up and do the work. I will be there to guide.
Fitness and Jiu Jitsu have something in common: good fundamentals are unbeatable.
I won't demand crazy workouts. I will make sure you do the right things in the right way.
We all want motivation, because with that, everything is easier and fun. The problem is that our mood will change, so our motivation can go away. Discipline is the power to do what you have to do, even when you don't feel like it.
Motivation will help you have a few great workouts, but discipline will help you stay consistent.
What you need to achieve your goals is consistency.
It doesn't matter if you do Jiu Jitsu, or if you do regular workouts (or both), you need to know where to place those in your life.
If you give too much importance to your Jiu Jitsu/Fitness journey and put those above your job or family time, your relationship with BJJ/fitness is unhealthy.
But if you put everything else above your fitness/BJJ journey, you won't progress and your body will pay the price.
I want to help you find the fine balance.
This isn't something I built alone.
It's something I'm building with the people who walk this path with me.
I don't have everything figured out.
I show up.
I teach.
I keep refining the process.
I train with care.
I seek to live with discipline (I fail way too often).
I stay consistent.
That's the work.
10+ years teaching Jiu Jitsu to kids and adults. Now expanding to include personal training.
I'm not here to sell you on some transformation. I'm here to teach you skills and help you build consistent habits.
We don't have everything figured out. We show up, train, and take care of people. That's it.
